Navigate to your account page and find the account control widget. If this says "Profile status: Unconfirmed" you need to apply the following solution:
When you register a email is sent automatically to the email address you gave. You will need to find this and click the link in order to confirm your account.
First check your spam folder and any other place your account might have put the automatically sent email. This is the most common solution.
Next look to see if the email address on the same widget is correct. If it does not you will need to fix this before you proceed.
If you need to, then resend the email. Do this by clicking on the info link under "Profile status" and following the instructions.
